It was this big!

Disappointing lack of camping last weekend, so we took ourselves off to one of our favourite camp sites at Bishop's Green near Newbury.

It has the advantage (for B) of a lovely fishing lake just a few minutes walk from the camping field.
We took a stroll there this evening and met Ryan (about 9) who had just caught this whopper. It is a mirror carp and weighed in at an impressive 11lbs 15oz. (about half his body weight I reckon).

For anyone who is worried, fishing here is very well managed and the fish are beautifully looked after. They are not kept, but are returned to the water within seconds.
