Camp

An hour or so into school today some of our Syrian friends showed up, meaning school was over. The children were happy - no work but lots of baby cuddles. If there was a GCSE in cuddling babies they'd get top marks, but I'm not sure about any other subject. Aaargh, school keeps being interrupted with things -it's so much worse in the Spring when people are out and about more.

We ended up taking the family back to their camp. There were truckloads of Syrian soldiers passing us, coming back to the same camp from the war. A party awaited them - it was moving seeing soldiers holding their babies and being reunited after having been away.
