Truly Spring

When the sun shone so beautifully this morning, I decided it was too good an opportunity to miss, so I headed off to Elford Hall Gardens to spend a quiet half hour in the Boat House (which doubles as a brilliant bird hide.)

I was not disappointed. I had a series of visitors - the regular robin, plenty of nuthatches and tits of various sorts, a beautiful bullfinch (extra shot) and finally, the charming little squirrel.
