EYE CANDY OUT OF FOCUS...

Only managed to take two photos today - the other one is even more out of focus than this one.

It's of the headstock of CC's 11 string Oudh Guitar. He asked me if he should give it an oil finish? Hmmm -

"If you do that, make sure you get rid of all the imperfections before the oil gets applied, because it'll point them out & make them the most interesting parts..."

I keep on with this because I really want CC to succeed as a maker. He takes his instruments to exhibitions all round €urope - when people play them they're astonished  by the depth & beauty of tone - mostly, they give a cursory glance - see the lack of finish & move on.
