Vulcan

Anyone who has followed my journal for some time may remember that two and three years ago W and I became 'Vulcan Groupies', travelling to as many airshows as we could to see the last remaining Vulcan flying before it was grounded for good. The Archaeologist who runs the museum where W volunteers was also a fan and knew we were interested, and when she turned up there this morning he presented her with this model that he had ordered for us. I don't suppose it cost a fortune but it is a really well made metal model, and it's a nice touch that he thought of us when he saw it.
