Cherry plum snowstorm

Prunus cerasifera, or Cherry plum, is turning the hedgerows on the lane to the nature reserve into a snow scene (see extra photo). Might sometimes be appropriate in early March, but actually it looks like we will have a mild few days. This surely is the most perfect of all blossom, showing first after a long winter.
