...and this is Pip, a gorgeous and gentle man with many, many talents including bee keeping. And here he is with the current 'crop' of Marri, or Red Gum, honey fresh spun from the hive.

Marri honey is dark caramel in colour, tasty and almost savoury  compared to others, with  strong antibacterial component for healing wounds  and fighting infections.
Just the ticket for a daily spoonful....and yes this is the pot that came home with me  today.
The Hundred Foot Journey from hive to pot....now that is impressive!
