Snow Down Under

ROSE:

I really should give up blipping roses, but I can't help myself, they're all so beautiful. After all the talk about David Austin - for which I thank you - and English roses, I thought I would blip you a NZ bred one by the Irish breeder, Sam McGredy, who came to live in our city of sails, Auckland. Hasn't it got an English look about it with the formation of the petals ? In my garden, for the sheer volume of flowers and its resistance to disease, West Coast gets the number one slot ! A further enhancement, in autumn, put a 20cm piece in the ground and it will grow ! Who doesn't love that ? You have seen it in my blips before, and that is because it's so seldom without flowers. A really first class rose.
