ROSE:

This is a David Austin rose & I have said many times I think this dear man deserved a knighthood for services to horticulture - having bred roses for 75 years. English blippers will tell me if he is still alive - has to be in his 90's ? My bush is only a year old but in time it should grow into a shrub. It is named to mark the recovery of Henry VIII's flagship from the Solent, after more than 400 years. Love English history, don't you ?
