Derwentwater

A glorious evening on the shore of Derwentwater.
This odd winter gave us a day that felt quite a lot like the start of spring, wonderfully warm and with a fantastic sense of colour in the evening light.
Arriving in Borrowdale ahead of providing another night navigation course for the Mountain Training Association I was early enough sit in the back of the van with a coffee and enjoy the magnificent view. Happy times.

Tonight's session was the last in a series of three and it was great to see the progress that all the participants have made. We were joined by Fairweathergirl who's Magic charm worked again as the forecast rain never materialized and we enjoyed spectacular clear skies.
