Here she is again...

but tonight she seems to be alone. I sat on the bench on our patio for a half-hour or so, waiting for a hummer to appear. Finally my patience paid off. She came, but she was the only one that came to the feeder during the time I waited. There were titmice, chickadees, a white-breasted nuthatch, and an entire flock of sparrows, but only one hummingbird. Maybe the others have headed south. If they have, I wish them bon voyage. It's not an easy journey.
