Gotcha

This is our boy Gulliver. He's nine years old now and an important member of the family, but he doesn't get blipped very often because he's camera shy. I sneaked up on him this evening before he could get away, but right after I snapped this, he got up and wandered out of camera range.

He's also intensely fearful of storms. If a storm comes up during the night, I have to quickly shut the bedroom door or he will be sitting on my head...literally. He sits there and shakes. He has a "Thundershirt" and I try to leave the light on for him, but if anyone has any other suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Mind you, he's no lightweight. Fifty pounds of quivering canine can really interrupt a night's sleep...until long after the storm has moved on. It can be a desperate situation. Nevertheless, he's our buddy. He's a character, but we love him.
