Problems A-plenty on the Pole
My set alarm woke me up at 6:50 a.m.
Do you think I was...
A. Getting up to go shoot the sunrise?
B. Going off on a birding adventure?
C. Getting up early to decide which bathing suit to wear to ladies swim class?
D. Going to get in line for a 9 a.m. garage sale?
The answer is D. The sale is WIDELY known in this area. I was in line at 7:28, and there were 13 people ahead of me. DON'T THESE PEOPLE HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO DO?
Soon after, the osprey flew in with his breakfast. It didn't matter to him that all the people in the line were watching his eating habits.
But, it did matter that 4 crows showed up to pester him. They took turns buzzing his head, and I thought for sure that he would fly off. But, the osprey had other plans.
Look in the extras for the ospreys response. He "winged" the crow, and knocked him off his perch.
Soooo...for the crow...the answer was no. He would have to go pick on a different foe.
They let the first 50 people in at 8:42, and after spending 25-30 minutes in the sale, and buying 4 items...the osprey was still enjoying his breakfast. And, the line to get in was probably 40-45 yards long...the length of the parking lot.
P.S. Look at the size of that fish!
