This morning ...

... was so misty though you could feel the sun struggling to break through. This picture was taken at about 08:00; by 09:00 there was a bright blue sky and really lovely sunshine. It felt slightly warm and sunglasses were needed for subsequent dog walks. But the sky's turning cloudy again as the forecast wet weekend approaches.

A busy morning with a rare visit from one of my cousins for which occasion I made cherry scones. Quite good if I'm allowed to say so.

I'm now settling down to do an hour of my Dutch course. Week one and I'm behind already.
