Overnight snow

We woke up to snow this morning and walked with this view as the sun rose. Getting back home Talisker had a very very very lucky escape when he ran straight out into the road after a cat. He got hit but thankfully with snow on the road and glare from the sun, the traffic was going much slower than normal. He came away with a big fright, torn claws and no obvious sign of injury. Thank ***K!

Later in the morning I joined Mumpy with the horses and had a good bit of exercise mucking out before riding out on Djego and Maggie. Just a short jaunt in walk around the block.

Gorgeous has been busy in the shower room again and it's looking brilliant! We walked at Brodgar in a very cold wind and wet ground underneath.

I am now preparing for my first shift back at work since my trip away. I hope it goes quickly and smoothly.
