Horsing

I missed the neddies whilst I've been away so was chomping at the bit to go see them. I managed to drag George out for a ride on Djego, leading young Nettie. I rode Ruby who had a bit of a spring in her step. Once back at the yard I suggested we put a saddle on Nettie so I could lay my weight over her back for the first time. As it happened, I ended up just sitting on her. She didn't even notice, more interested in trying to chew the lead rope. We did 2 laps of the outside area, Nettie acting like this was nothing new. Her Mum Mercy stood and watched, clearly proud of her little girl.

Back home Gorgeous and I headed to Yesnaby for the afternoon dog walk. The skies were amazing and the dogs ran around following their noses until they were specks on the horizon.

What a perfect day.
