Didn't think we...

...would get much walking today but we actually managed a fair bit and the day cleared as it went on.

So golfing first, then shopping for Es's delayed birthday tea then home to make said Birthday tea...that was Mr R's job...I was folding pants and pairing socks, it's what I live for on a Saturday.

Then we all enjoyed eating the birthday tea. She had picked vegetable paella and we even managed to get her brothers to eat some...quickly followed by pizza! Then it was the cheesecake she asked for from the Caledonian Cheesecake Company...chocolate orange with Oreo topping. It was delicious.

I am grateful for a day spent with the family and being able to celebrate the birth of Eilidh.
