Jerez

To Jerez today, the name of which, when mispronounced in England, became "sherry."  It has a pleasant, if unexciting, city centre. The highlight was a tour of the Gonzales Byass bodegas, famous for the production of the delightful fino Tio Pepe, which means, according to our delightful guide,  Uncle Joe.  A Wigan connection perhaps?

The bodegas contain many barrels of the product, some of which are autographed by visitors, not all of whom are famous for their sherry drinking exploits.

On our return to Cadiz, the sunset was terrific.
