Achievements

Such a dreary rainy day today. I gave A the choice of playgroup or swimming and without any hesitation he chose the latter, so off we went. We virtually had the pool to ourselves which was nice. We had fun splashing about and whilst A was quite content swimming with his noodle I got a few lengths in.

We came home for lunch and then decided to make a cake on a bit of a whim. A helped with all the mixing and decorating and of course the spoon licking! We collected P from school in the torrential downpour and when we got home she informed me that she has moved up a reading level! The cake quickly became a well done surprise for her. We all enjoyed a slice after tea to celebrate her achievement.
