2nd Annual Ragtime Festival!

Three days of toe-tapping music, a good deal of it free, right here on the street. Musicians played 20 minute sets on a crisp afternoon downtown, happily immune to distractions of kids, dogs, pedestrians, shoppers, bikes, and cars.This is Adam Swanson, Carnegie Hall veteran at age nineteen, and three-time winner of the World Championship Old Time Piano Playing Contest, just so you know they're serious folk. Nearly two dozen artists, six venues, and cooperative weather made a great weekend combination. Makes you want to play the piano, or dance, or at least go have a beer at the local participating pub.
