Lego

Lego is incredibly important to this 7 year old.  

When he stays at Gran's apparently it is in the rule book that we must go to Timaru and buy him a small Lego set.  Somehow today's one wasn't so small, but it was on sale so that sort of makes it okay.  Anyway his joy in building it is worth a lot to me.

It used to be that we built it together (which means that I mostly did it with him 'finding' the necessary pieces).  Nowadays I'm only needed to put the stickers on straight.  One of these days he's going to realise that he can do that too.  Then Gran will be redundant!
