The fly

I'm afraid another garden photo of a hover fly on a day lily.

I was hoping to blip the "blue moon", but the sky has clouded over and so no moon tonight. Typical!!

The moon is called a "blue moon" when it is the 2nd Full moon in a calendar month. The next one won't be until 2015. So it is quite special.

It also happens to be the same day as Neil Armstrong's funeral. Which is very appropriate. A fitting tribute to a wonderful man.

Not much of a day today. The usual weekend shopping.
Fine to start with after a very cold night, then it started raining in the afternoon.
(Managed to pick the washing in before it got wet through again!)
