After Doris

The storm yesterday sounded pretty bad from where I was sitting. There were a fair few trees down around Holland Park this morning and a fair few squirrels left without homes.

The news this morning included a story that Prince Charles wants to provide contraception for grey squirrels in the form of chemically enhanced Nutella. I haven't heard of anything so ridiculous in a long while. Once the ecological balance has shifted this far it's rather like locking the drey door after the red squirrel has bolted.

Plus Max would be out of work.
