Flower Friday.....Daphne in mono

A lovely day today after the gales of yesterday, blue sky and sunshine.  I tried to photography this Daphne in situ, but it was still too windy, so ended up cutting off a flower head and taking indoor shots.........the scent from it is wonderful, rather like lilac. The colour image is in extras, plus a wonderful find in my very new pond, which I am very happy about. !!!  Thanks to BikerBear for her hosting of the challenge, look forward to blipping something in colour next week, it has been a long mono February. :)
