Lake Tutira

Holidays are no holiday. We did get a bit of a lie around after breakfast but then it was a walk around the port at Gisborne, a drive up Kaiti Hill and a walk to see a the best views. Down into town for a look and a buy at the best book shop we have come across for a long time. On to the museum and art gallery then lunch and the drive back to Napier. We called at this lake and caught some wildlife. Sheep, swans, NZ scaup ducks, and a white faced heron in a tree.
No sooner home and it was teatime then out to watch the boy of the household play futsal a fast moving indoor soccer.
Tomorrow we go home after a fabulous week in Napier and Gisborne thanks to Lizellens family.Tired but happy.
