Waiting For Doris

A very frustrating day, trying to get mobile phone reception for long enough to contact the garage to find out about our car and the hire car provided by the garage.

A friend, who lives in a remote village in the mountains, came over laden with pre-prepared food. What a saviour. She must have the patience of a saint, as she watched us struggle with the phone calls. We then discovered that her mobile network had reception, so she left her mobile with us, for us to use. I felt terrible, knowing that she had to return over the mountains but we called her and she'd arrived safely.

This was taken as it was getting dark. The hooded crows were waiting in the oaks for Doris.
