Gill

As we had some sunshine to start the day, I went to one of my favourite places with my macro lens, cable release and groundsheet. I thought I'd see how the fungi are coming almond and aim to get a few nice close ups into the bargain, as I have volunteered to do a slideshow for our fungus group evening in November. There was a good selection with representatives from quite a few families. This one is a Russula. Can't be sure which one without a bit of work, but that will have to wait, as will my comments, as I'm off to an Art Show preview tonight. My friend is exhibiting so I have a complimentary ticket.
