New Floor

John and I have spent the day pulling out the old floor of the van and the shelf of the luton body.We have cleaned it all down and fitted the new floor.We have had the use of Richards barn and workshop which has made the job a lot easier.
Loaded up for Shropshire this evening ready for a early start in the morning.
Talk of teachers working up to fifty hours a week on the news this morning and I got to wondering what they did with the second half of the week.A lot of self employed would call that a part time job.Holiday leave for teachers is more than what most of us get.

I have never liked the folk music we produce in the UK but as I have grown older (and some would say more of a pain in the arse) I have started to appreciate American country music and Canadian folk.This song is beautiful and almost cinematic the story of lives lived and not the euro boom bang a boom or rap ( rap rhymes with crap for a very good reason) that the radio puts out all day.I am rambling again.Give yourself a treat and listen to this on repeat for the whole evening the images remind me of Nova Scotia.Summer's End
