PIED STILT ( Himantopus himantopus)

Many thanks for the kind comments yesterday of the image of two young Pied Stilts in flight ( like peas in a pod?) I thought I would checkout the pond again today and find out more of the family who seem to have this little pond to themselves - mum/dad and three offspring. They're getting along fine and welcomed my attention with a few of their yapping calls which they do when flying and feeding and talkingto their young.
The xtra is one of the father of the family.
