1. What is going on in the photo?
This is an image of the door to the basement of my house. The door is open slightly.

2. How is it related to a specific psychology concept from the current or previous unit?
This picture is related to the concept of shape constancy. Objects viewed from different angles will produce different shapes on our retinas, but we know that the shape of the object remains the same. The shape of the door in this image looks different on our retinas, but the fact that the image depicts a door is clear in our mind.

3. Link the image to one of the perspectives of psychology with an explanation of how it relates.
This photograph is related to Cognitive Psychology. Cognitive Psychology is the study of mind and mental function, processes, and perceptions. Such as how we perceive shape constancy!
