Train to London.
Our Virgin train was apparently 'Redder, Hotter, Awesomer'. Well it was certainly 'Redder' - the new seats are so red as to be scary, but wouldn't you think the Quiet Coach should have had a colour somewhat more . . . well quiet! But none of the 'Awesomeness' makes up for the ridiculous hike in fares, which they are trying to cover up with hyperbole. We got in on time, so I suppose that's something.
One of the reasons for coming to London now was to re-visit the 'African Art' exhibition at the British Museum before it closes. We saw it a while back, but it was at the end of a long day and they were chucking us out as well. So, after having read the book which I bought and having lived two weeks in the country, we got a lot more out of the exhibition this time. Excellent and really made us think.
