That Chickadee Feeling

Although this wasn't my best photo of the day, it was definitely my favourite moment.  This girl is a friend of my daughter's who I drove quite a distance after work one evening to collect her from a bad situation she had gotten herself into.  On the long drive home, she not only got some 'motherly advise' but I discovered that she  had never been into the woods to feed the chickadees and had never seen a deer in the wild.  Today we did both and this was the moment the first chickadee landed on her hand for some seed  : )

It felt like Spring with the temperature soaring up to +14C.  It was -22C a couple of days ago....what a difference!!  Loving it : ))
