The Ford is Out.....

When I drove to one of our walking routes this evening I found that the ford across the Taylor River had been washed out. It was no real surprise as there has been a lot of rain in the last day or so. The south-easterly rain is known to raise the river. Maisie was keen to give crossing the ford a go, flood or no flood. She was on her lead and I had to hang onto it for dear life. She is amazingly strong for a little dog weighing in at around 22 kilos.
