Into infinity...

The striking staircase in the relatively recent addition to Edinburgh's Usher Hall, spotted on an interval visit to the excellent Ladies (a vista of loos and no queue).

The concert we were attending was terrific. Because of illness, both conductor and soloist had been replaced and the programme changed; the diminutive Elim Chan was a stellar conductor and pianist Louis Schwizgebel played not only the Beethoven 2nd concerto but also an encore.

A great concert, a lovely evening - Mr B's birthday present benefited more than himself!
