Pasty Pies

Smallest made pasties at school the other week so I rashly promised to make them with him at home. Today was finally the day - they weren't great to be honest but the novelty of making them went down well.

The Boy refused to have anything to do with them mind, he made a plate full of sausage rolls instead!

The rest of the day has been fairly unexciting but productive. Smallest was dropped off at the pool for his 8.30 swimming lesson - I dropped his bestie off while MrRoly watched the 1to1 swimming!

Aching from yesterday, it took us a while to get going again - plus it was cold and cloudy. But MrRoly has laid the mini patio for my veg patch bench and I have moved 2 compost bins, cleared a space for a fig (either move the one Mum got me or get a second) and thoroughly cleaned out the 'spare' chicken run!

At the rate we're going, the fruit/vet patch may actually become a reality this year!
