Tornado

After our scouting mission of yesterday we decided to go and  have another look at Tornado as it pulled the scheduled service trains. Clickychick had to set up a display of photos in a local cafe's display space.C having got the display sorted we had their rather good "Cumberland Breakfast.

 This time knowing what the situation was we headed for Appleby and a bridge just south of the town so that we could catch tornado, doing what steam locos do best< being at the front and hauling the train!

After i9t had passed we headed to Kirkby Stephen for a wander round and a coffee.  From their we headed for the Ribblehead Viaduct to catch Tornado on its way south.  As yesterday the shots were spoiled by the diesel immediately behind the Loco.  I do wish I knew why they felt it was necessary!
