'Under The Bridge'
Tonight was Dad's pizza night at D's school. All the dad's and their kids for a night out at the school community centre. The kids all sang 4 or 5 songs in Italian for us with their Italian teacher playing guitar while all the dad's held up smart phones to record them. I should have recorded all of the dad's around the perimeter of the room, that would have been 'ART'. Anyway a fun night for all.
At lunch time I went for a wander down along the Yarra River and noticed that it had broken it's banks in a couple of places, we must have had a lot of rain lately as I haven't ever see the river so full.
This shot was taken underneath the Swan street bridge, one of Melbournes oldest and most busy bridges. I liked the quality of light and the grittiness of it. You can see the lines on the concrete from the timber boards used as formwork.
