'Burwood Road, Hawthorn'

Had to drop my car in for a service this morning in Hawthorn.

Had a call a lunchtime to say it was ready to pick up after a service, new front brake rotors and pads, and 4 new tyres. It was such a nice day today that I decided to walk from the office in Swan Street, Richmond to Burwood Road, Hawthorn about a 5km walk.

This was taken from the top of the hill just over the Bridge Road, Bridge on Burwood Road looking East towards Swinburne University where you can see the construction crane on another one of their buildings under construction.

I used the selective colour filter to pick out the different coloured green glass on the facade of the building on the left.

All of the deciduous trees that line the road are just about to burst with the new seasons leaves, you can just pick out the green tinge they have in this shot.
