Today was Driech to the utmost, lashing rain unremitting and wisps of clouds gathering. I have introduced a lot of Catalans to this word, their accent makes it roll off the tongue. It is quite easy for Scots to pick up a serviceable accent as the sounds of loch and reek are often heard in Catalan.
