Melbourne Meal

Our new Aussie friend, Trefor, whom I mentioned (Fri 10th) picked us up from our hotel at 11am to show us the local Mountains and countryside around Melbourne, before taking us back home where wife Pauline was preparing Sunday dinner for us all.

It was a very relaxing last day in Melbourne, made highly enjoyable by seeing local scenery and good conversation over a lovely meal; a cold beer for us blokes and a white wine for Mrs BB.

The blip photo shows the fresh fruit and cheese platter with chutney we had to finish, with a pleasant bottle of Australian Shiraz.

About 7.30pm, Pauline drove us back to our hotel as the sun was setting and giving a lovely red hue; the photo I took of it as from the moving car shows the red traffic light and red sky. A fabulous last Melbourne meal.
