Evanescence

What do you call these flying seed pods? there must be a nice compact word for these gentle bits of fluff. They are floating everywhere these days, and this one was caught in a thin horizontal spider web. The slightest breeze caused it to rotate on the axis of the web, sometimes spinning wildly, sometimes rocking slightly. Watching it in Live View was making me a little seasick, but it was a lovely little piece of early morning entertainment.
