Mototapu River Track

Today 25 members of the walking group drove to the DOC Car Park, on the Mototapu Road, and we walked from there up the true right of the the Mototapu River.  It was a beautiful warm day, and we enjoyed the experience of a new walk for us.  We had our lunch by the river, then headed back the same way.  A welcome cuppa at a local cafe was enjoyed, then the heavens opened the the rain just bucketed down.  We were lucky that the rain stayed away for our walk.
