Training on the Lake

Another very hot day, with temperatures over +30C.  I went out at 6.30, but the rowers were already on the lake.  I waited for an hour for them to come back in.  There were about 8 crews on the lake, mainly single scullers.  They are all training for the rowing regattas that are coming up in the next month or two.  Lovely and cool in the morning before the heat of the day.  That's Coromandel Peak on the left.

This afternoon I went to Croquet, 16 of us there today, we all had good games, and good company of course.

The extra is a rowing pair disturbing a paddling of ducks!
