Just peeping

By looking through my neighbour's balcony, I can often see Mount Teide on Tenerife providing it's not covered in cloud. Overnight and lasting about 12 hours, we had the most violent storm with torrential rain and very heavy winds, the worst we have known. It blew out about 10am this morning and calm was restored. As often happens when we have heavy rain here, the top of Mount Teide gets snow and last night was no exception, you have to look carefully to see the peak amongst the cloud, we haven't been far today, only as far as my balcony to catch up on my ironing,
