Cold Beauty

Today the clouds dissipated and by early afternoon it was a gorgeous, clear and sunny day. Shades of blue and white highlight Mt. Adams, the tip of Mt. Rainier and the Goat Rocks in the distance. High Prairie is covered in a deep coat of snow. The beauty of the day and scenery felt like a consolation prize of sorts after the past few days of crisis. We have a sunny reprieve of a few days until the next storm is due. Hopefully the truck and plow are back in commission. 

Thanks for all your comments in commiseration and support, your stars and hearts for "Perilous Rescue". In the face of obstacles it is nice to know you have some support. 

P.S. The Great Horned Owls have put on a symphony tonight! They mate in early winter and are a delight to hear on this clear, moonlit night~
