Some Hope
Sadly, Yeovil didn't. Playing at home against Leyton Orient, who are in the bottom two and struggling since the turn of the year, hopes were high that Yeovil might be able to gain a convincing win this afternoon.
In truth, Orient were the better team and deserved their equaliser late on. Still a point a piece meant we maintain the gap between us and the relegation places!
It was a frustrating afternoon to match a frustrating morning. Despite having a new cam shaft fitted Chris's car still wasn't happy and the garage asked him to take it in again this morning. We were two of three miles away from the garage when it gave up the ghost completely and refused to move any further. We spent an hour standing by the side of the road in the icy wind and snow flurries before the AA arrived to tow the car the rest of the way.
Why do some fellow motorists, presumably piqued at having to wait a moment to get past, feel the need to sound their horns and gesticulate at you? Do they think it's your idea of fun to stand in the freezing cold and delay them momentarily?
I've had warmer days!
