Best of both worlds

Fresh snow and sunshine beckoned us early onto the slopes. We had the best of the sunshine, though it seems the Maloja serpent (the fog phenomenom) wrecked the best laid plans for the world championship Men's downhill and crowds of 40 000 people. Postponed till tomorrow.
After a few hours and burning thighs we opted for lunch on our terrace and a langlauf session with the dog. M and P peeled off after a while and I explored some new tracks and got to practise my hill climbs. The best spectacle was seeing these horses thundering through the fresh snow (see extra) though sadly I didn't get the best shot of them.
