Banyoles Placa Major

After a bit of a hectic week, hospital visits, friends visiting, lunches and the prospect of another equally busy week ahead, it was a time for a bit of a pamper.

So early morning, well 9ish, visit to hairdresser and afterwards freshly shorn a solitary and peaceful breakfast in the square. It was a treat to just catch up with news on iPad and sip my café amb llet, and my "mini' of ham and cheese. (People may have been curious why I was chuckling to myself, actually laughing at the SNP MP's humming the European anthem as the Brexit vote came in. At last we have a serious opposition in Westminster that is not afraid to have fun)

The square is normally very busy, markets and children playing, old ladies out for a gossip and the office workers taking breakfast, a ritual rigorously and religiously observed. Today I caught a lull and a lazy and easy blip emerged.
