Notes

Today I had my induction morning for my new job.
The induction lasted 2 hours and consisted of taking notes about different aspects of the job from the actual working to the payment side of it.
The job itself will involve going to lectures to take notes for students who are unable to do so. And some proofreading work as well.
I'm glad I made this decision even if it was agonizing for a couple of days trying to decide between this one and the other one.
I get allocated work on the 14th September and hopefully start work on the 25th (or week of anyway)
I am now looking forward to having 3 weeks to be a lady of leisure..it feels different to know you have 3 weeks to do nothing and have work at the end of it, than having every day with nothing to do with nothing in sight at the end like has been for nearly a year.
It will be good to be working.
