Trinity Beach, Cairns

We decided to have a relaxing day by taking a bus into Cairns town centre but at the local bus stop we found out there was a driver dispute and buses were running on a skeleton schedule. A 45minute wait in the heat/humidity changed our plans and we took a walk along the local beach, Trinity Beach, which is about 200 metres from our room.

The blip photo shows it's very quiet as it's recommended to swim in the netted off section that has a lifeguard, as crocodiles and stingers frequent the beach!

It turned out to be a super relaxing day around the hotel pool/jacuzzi, in and out of the water to cool down. Strange to think that the UK is freezing and in the dark as we do so!
